Golden Eagle photographed at the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary in Prescott, Arizona. A variety of rescued animals that cannot safely be returned to the wild find a new home here.
Grant has enjoyed photography all his life. Starting with a Brownie Starflash in 1960, he graduated to a Canon T70 SLR film camera in 1985. He marveled at the beauty of God's creation -- the Great Lakes, rushing streams, Autumn colors, wild flowers, a gathering storm -- and worked on the craft of capturing these on film. Moving to Arizona and switching to a Canon Rebel XTi digital SLR, he is fascinated with the distinctive beauty of the desert. Grant joined the Phoenix Artists Guild in November, 2011 -- and was juried in to the Arizona Art Alliance in Photography in January, 2012. His work can be seen at the AAA Gallery (azartalliance.com) and in PAG shows (phoenixartistsguild.com.)
